Chinedu Nwonu

Chinedu Nwonu is the Project Director of Rehomes Property Development Co Ltd. He has over 23 years practical experience in business management. He has wealth of experience in business and project management having worked in private and multinational organizations commencing with Yaolat Nigeria Ltd Lagos (Office Equipment Company) as a Marketing Executive in 1992. He later joined Chemical Securities and Finance Co. Ltd as the head of Chemsec Ventures Ltd a, subsidiary of the company. In 1995, he moved over to Chemical and Allied Products PLC (CAP PLC) where he was in charge of the company’s range of Pharmaceuticals and Paints (Dulux Paints) products in Anambra, Imo, Enugu and Ebonyi States till 2001. He joined the banking sector in 2001 commencing with Prudent Bank PLC but later moved to Broad Bank, Union Bank and Access Bank PLC holding different management positions. He finally moved on to become the Project Director of Rehomes Property Development Co Ltd in 2014. Chinedu has attended several senior management courses on business management, organizational behaviors, building brands, human resource management, consultative selling, branding, real estate development, entrepreneurial and supervisory skills programs. He has also attended courses on credit risk management, money laundering, foreign exchange, etc. He has facilitated several training programs on management, organizational efficiency, etc in Banks, Manufacturing Companies, Telecoms Businesses, etc. Chinedu is a 1990 graduate of the University of Benin. He holds degrees in Business Management, Economic History and a Masters Degree in Business Administration. He is a member of many professional bodies including Chartered Institute of Banking of Nigeria and The Chartered Institute of Marketing and Institute of Management Consultants, etc. He served as a member of Anamabra State Micro Finance Credit Committee in 2010 and a member of the State Committee on Anambra State Compulsory Housing Insurance Scheme where he articulated the process flow in 2011. His hobbies include business repositioning, marketing, travelling, reading, writing and sports in general.
